Though we live in ultra modern times, it must be said that Tollywood has been quite conservative when it comes to certain things. In that, heroes tend to have their own comfort area be it their fan base, relation with other heroes and their movies. But breaking all those barriers, a new trend has emerged.
We are talking about heroes producing other heroes’ films. This might sound unusual but it has happened now. Nandamuri Kalyanram has come forward and produced the movie Kick 2 which has Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Similarly, youth star Nithiin is the producer for Akkineni Akhil's debut venture.
This phenomenon is actually very rare and even when certain heroes producer other hero movies they tend to play a role or two as actors. In Tollywood, it is not so. The culture of heroes setting up their own production houses and coming forward to produce their colleague’s projects is indeed a very good sign.
