There is a constant discussion and research that keeps happening in filmnagar circles as the burning topic is, how to make small budget films successful at the box office. Films in this segment face a lot of challenge right from getting proper theatres to give it a proper reach among the audience.
One suggestion being given is, the film must have out of the box music. The likes of Happy Days, Uyyala Jampala, Oohalu Gusagusalade caught the attention of the people through their music and the viewers showed interest to watch the film. Of course, even the movies were also good.
And they scored success at the box office. So, music should not be routine, it must be very innovative and something different. When Happy Days songs came they were different for that time, same with Uyyala Jampala. Hence, the music directors need to focus on bringing out that variety flavor.
