In the age where most of the heroines depend on heavy makeup or stylish outfits to look best in the roles they adorn, there was one actress who won many hearts with her simplicity, casual look and amazing performances in the early 2000s. She is none other than Bhumika Chawla who acted almost with every big hero in Tollywood during her peaks of career.
Bhumika also did some thought provoking feminist subjects such as Missamma and Ravi Babu’s Anasuya which earned her critical acclaim. Many fans felt sad when she took a hiatus from acting after getting married but here is the good news! During an interview at SIIMA awards this year, Bhumika said that she is willing to start her second innings as an actress and is open to any sort of role which has a good script.
We will have to wait and see which sort of role Bhumika would select as a comeback because many veteran actresses such as Sridevi and even Jyothika decided to have a second innings and became quite successful!
