Transforming from a well established actor to a producer is quite a daunting task in this showbiz world. Especially, when such actor doesn't have any family background relating to Cinema, it becomes even more difficult. Here is another new age comedian who is taking the same path and testing his luck out of pure passion for Cinema and filmmaking.
He is none other than upcoming comedian Dhanraj who rose to popularity with the comedy show Jabardasth. Dhanraj has acted in may comedy films by beginning his career with Teja's love story Jai. He is well known for his memorable roles in Parugu, Gabbar Singh and blockbuster Attarintiki Daaredhi. Now, he made a film called Dhanalakshmi Talupu Tadithe starring actors like Tanish, Manoj, Sreemukhi, Sindhu Tolani in which he is also playing an important role.
During the film's audio release, there were many satires heaped on this actor turned producer off the stage. His contemporaries like comedian Venu also said that it is indeed a big risk for Dhanraj to enter into film production especially when he is struggling to make a mark.
However, it is a commendable move by Dhanraj to test his luck in filmmaking and it purely speaks of his dedication towards film world. Let us hope his first attempt as filmmaker succeeds!
