Swathi aka Colors Swathi is one among the few Telugu heroines who created a niche for herself in Telugu film Industry and she already entered into the Tamil market (with Karthikeya) even before our top heroes could.
After the grand success of Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, Swathi is doing her second Telugu-Tamil bilingual titled Tripura which is being produced by A Chinababu and M Rajasekhar under Crazy Media Banner. Tripura which is touted to be the sequel of horror comedy Geethanjali is being helmed by director Raja Kiran (of Geethanjali movie fame) and ace writer Kona Venkat has given the screenplay for this much anticipated sequel.
Star comedian Saptagiri is doing a full length role in this film and he is going to be yet key success factor for the film besides Swathi. So far, the talkie part is done and the crew is planning to shoot the songs in the next schedule in some exotic locales of Humpi and Badaami.
