A statue has a great mark of respect and pride for an individual and any corner of the globe, there is no nation without its share of statues. These statues belong to those great people who played a key role in shaping up this world and creating history in between. In the Telugu states, statues are there for film stars too.
But now, a new demand is rising among many cine buffs. They are saying just like how the towering hunk Daggubati Rana got a 100 feet golden statue of his character Bhallaladeva in the movie Baahubali, a golden statue of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli should also be erected.
The reason being, Rajamouli has taken the pride of Telugu cinema to a new level and it is not just about Tollywood, even Indian cinema is being spoken high of in different parts of the world due to his creation. Few rationalists say 100 feet is insane but they do vouch that Rajamouli deserves to have statues. What say Jakkanna?
