Did you notice something? The entire film industry is after historic films and period dramas. We just witnessed Baahubali and we have a line up of some crazy films like Rudhramadevi, Baajirao Mastani, Mohenjodaro etc.
But these films don't happen always and once they hit, they create history. Making such films is a devil of a job and not many succeed in dishing out. One such project that surfaced when Anushka signed in for Rudhramadevi and Baahubali was Bagmathi. This is yet another historical subject that was initially written for Anushka but later it was reported that Anjali will be replacing Anushka as the former is busy with Rudhramadevi. But somehow the project was rumoured to be shelved due to reasons best known to them. Since Rudhramadevi is all set for release, the director Ashok (Pilla Zamindar fame) and producers UV Creations are now ready to board the project onto floors.
The pre-production activity is now in progress and an official announcement regarding the project is expected very soon. Well fans are only excited about how Anushka will be seen as the majestic Bagmathi.
