It is common sense that when you do a job you are expected to get paid for it or else you will never take it up. But would you believe if we say that the singers who are currently rendering their voices for numbers in movies are doing it for free? Well, this might sound surprising but a good part of it is true.
Lately, it is being reported that many singers in Tollywood are not asking for payment. If some amount is being given they take without a second thought but there is nothing like demanding a certain amount per song. This is only working for very few singers. So, what about the rest?
Well, they are compensating this with stage shows. If they start asking for money competition is so high that someone else will get the chance. Given that situation, the singers are focusing more on doing maximum number of songs and if any of them click then the demand for that is more during stage shows. And when singers are invited for stage shows, they charge the required fees.
