The word lobbying must have become very common to you because in your everyday life some works don’t happen without lobbying. This includes even something like a cinema ticket. In that aspect, the lobbying process is high in the entertainment industry especially for award events which happen overseas.
One such event is SIIMA (South India International Movie Awards) and this year it is going to take place in Dubai during the month of August. Given that, it is heard that many actresses and film fraternity members have been doing some heavy lobbying to get the invitation so that they can be part of it.
Usually these obligations keep coming till the end so organizers tend to adhere to it and some losses used to come. But now, they have entrusted this task to the Chennai based Sun TV group. So, they will decide which celebrities will come to this prestigious event and this has saved the SIIMA organizers to avoid the lobbying tensions.
