While the biggest D-Day for Telugu Cinema finally occured by the worldwide release of magnum opus Baahubali in multiple languages such as Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam, there seems to be few hiccups for the malayalam release in the God's Own Country. Kerala audience were always supportive and admired Telugu Cinema for its gloss and commercial sense and naturally Baahubali became a celebration season even there.
But now, the screening of Baahubali's malayalam version has been stalled in the state of Kerala. Though initially it was said that piracy is the main reason for this 400 - odd theatres strike, now it looks like some serious differences occured between the exhibitors and distributor associations. However, the fans can take a respite if the differences settle down and the shows stars positively at least by afternoon today.
Baahubali is the first ever Telugu film which is simultaneously releasing worldwide in various South Indian languages along with Hindi. It is termed as India's biggest motion picture and pride of Telugu Cinema for its larger than life production values and the amount of hard work invested in it.
