Popular producer Dil Raju's latest offering Kerintha was released in the midst of positive promotions and good reception of the album two weeks ago. The film featured Sumanth Ashwin and Tejaswi in lead roles along with new faces being introduced.
While the film opened with fair reviews and positive feedback after the release, the jubiliant film's unit planned to do a success tour in the two states. But when the reached the eastern town Srikakulam in AP, they met with huge embarrasment in public. During the promotional meet in Srikakulam, a group of angered youngsters threw eggs on the film's unit apparently showing their displeasure about the content in the film. Sources say that the film has ridiculed Srikakulam's accent in the film to an extent which might have caused this unpleasant incident.
