When you are given a choice between a Hindi movie and a movie of your mother tongue you would obviously give your first preference to the latter. And if you are a Telugu, your love for cinema is abundant so the eagerness to watch all movies is always there. But right now, the situation is somewhat different.
It is being observed that a Bollywood mania has spread among the Telugu audience. Given the fact that most of them know Hindi in both states, they are going ahead and watching more of Hindi flicks. Notable among them are the recent set of releases Piku, Tanu Weds Manu 2, ABCD 2.
A special patronage is going for the Hindi movies and the reason being, no branded or star hero movies are coming in Telugu currently. Also, the Hindi movies are having great collections and this is building hype which is attracting the Telugu audience. At the end of the day, they are having their share of entertainment from Bollywood as well.
