Someday you might become a very successful filmmaker but then you would choose to stick to your own native language than attempt to make movies in other languages. It takes a very few stalwarts such as Mani Ratnam, K Balachander, K Raghavendra Rao, Murugadoss to do something like that.
Among the new age filmmakers, apart from Murugadoss, another man who made name for his projects across different languages is the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. He has a mark of his own in Bollywood and Tollywood. But now, if all goes well he might just be stepping into Kollywood as well.
Apparently, some hardcore fans of the Tamil superstar Ajith are asking RGV to do a film with their favorite star. Irrespective of all the flops he has scored and the talk that his reputation has gone, that doesn’t seem to affect the demand for RGV. He is still seen in a very big way by many cine buffs. They say the credit for that goes to his Bollywood movies such as Satya Sarkar, Bhoot which scored hits of mammoth size and became trendsetters. Let us wait to see what happens on RGV-Ajith project then.
