Though you often hear or read about the nexus between Tollywood and Kollywood, you don’t hear the same about Tollywood and Sandalwood. But in the last two years, even this bond has strengthened and now our Telugu producers are also heading to Kannada to make movies.
Akin to that, another man has stepped into Sandalwood and this time he happens to be a director. He is none other than the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma and he is making his debut with the movie Killing Veerappan. He was welcomed into Sandalwood in a very grand way with due respect.
RGV was gifted with the traditional head turban of Kannadigas along with a photo frame of Kannada Kanteerava Rajkumar. In Kannada, Kanteerava means lion so that way RGV has been given a lion gate entry because his debut is with the movie of Rajkumar’s son Shivarajkumar. Good luck RGV!
