If a big budget film involving a star hero is on cards, naturally the expectations edge towards a commercial entertainer which is aimed at the masses as well as class audience. To be more precise, the director would plan his script in such a way that the story takes a back seat and hero's image comes to the bigger picture. This approach might mean dialogues rendered by the hero which relates to the fans or his real life, a high voltage fight leading to an introduction song or what not?
But one film which comes under this category is shaped up breaking all these stereotypes. If you are wondering which film would it be, it is none other than Srimanthudu starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and the multi talented Shruti Hassan in lead roles. The teaser of the film already created an air of curiosity in Mahesh's simple looks where he is seen riding a bicycle instead of a branded car or a bike! The film also looked like an attempt to go back to the yesteryear ways of living based on villages and agriculture bading a goodbye to modern and corporate living.
As per our sources, Srimanthudu will not feature a power packed introduction sequence for Mahesh Babu.In fact, our dear hero will be intorduced only after ten minutes of runtime in the film. We however do not know how exactly the director Koratala Siva has planned it out, but as of now it looks like the director is focusing more on the story value than the star value which is a positive sign for Telugu Films!
This also proves that the young Superstar Mahesh Babu is an entirely director's actor! Meanwhile, there will be an official announcement about the audio release and movie release date of Srimanthudu this June 18.
