The Tamil dancing sensation Ilayathalapathy Vijay has been on a hit spree with his last blockbuster Tamil film Kaththi directed by A.R. Muragadoss. The film was admired by non Tamil speakers as well for his universal concept and amazing performance by Vijay in two contrasting roles. Now, the vibrant actor is busy shooting for his next Tamil venture Puli touted to be one of the biggest commercial entertainers to be released this year.
As per sources, the filmmakers are determined to make Puli a perfect masala entertainer and not compromising on budget anywhere at all. They are done with shooting the most expensive climax sequence which went on a staggering long schedule for nearly 70 days. It is said that out of 120 crore budget for the whole film, nearly 4 crores is spent on the climax alone! The director Chimbu Devan has got stunt masters from abroad to design exclusive sequences for Vijay and promises a visual treat for fans and audience alike.
Puli has finally wrapped up its filming and currently going through post production work rapid pace. The film is planned to be a special festival release on Ganesh Chaturthi and it has Shruti Hassan and Hansika Motwani as the two leading ladies opposite Vijay.
