Some select films of Mani Ratnam would be screend in the prestigious Museum of The Moving Image in New York city. New York Film festival is scheduled to commence from July 31st- Aug 2nd this year in this venue and Mani's films would be screened under the title 'Politics As Spectacle: The films of Mani Ratnam".
