Cricket and Cinema have been two more religions in India and that is the beauty of it as well. Especially, film stars are demi gods to us and there are lunatics around who build temples, give and take lives for their favorite stars.
Once Superstars emerged in this country, we have been witnessing fan frenzy and rivalry between fans groups of various heroes. Actually, this rivalry and hatred knows no age and boundary. Many of us grew up the same way fighting over favorite heroes and you need to admit that there was bullying over his flops as well. And Social media is the biggest war field for these fans to brawl and troll.
Unlike others, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan became the first one in recent times to respond on this. He reportedly urged fans to stop getting nasty and abusive in social media and even warned fans that he’ll quit Twitter if this continues.
“Messed up fighting over yr hero's vit each other. make this journey beautiful, dint sign up fr this ugly twitter war n not a part of it . Continue it n I vil b off twitter. Came here to spread love, share sm thoughts hv fun vit fans not for them to insult my fraternity. Hut. Don't want them to fight or turn nasty, ugly, abusive. Twitter shld also block abusive language, how difficult is that .” tweeted Salman Khan.
And Suriya seconds Salman in this regard and requested fans to maintain mutual cordial relations in a tweet that read -
“Just don't want fans n well wishers to fight with other fans..! Spend more time on yourself, family n make them proud!”
Hope and wish their fans get the message their favorite stars are trying to give, stop the negativity and spread the word and love.
