Kamal Haasan – the Sakala Kala Vallaban of Indian film industry is quite busy of late. Most of his contemporaries have voluntarily retired or some of them are planning movies nice and steady (one in a year or two). But this passionate marathon sprinter is marching ahead irrespective of hit or flops.
Surprisingly, from big to small, bilingual to multilingual, he is doing all kinds of films in all genres. And now time has come to spill his magic in Bollywood as well. Our B’town birdies give us good news that his upcoming straight Hindi film would be Amar Hai starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead. Well, Kamal shall be directing this film alongside playing a key role in the film. Coming to the story, this film is touted to be revolving around politics with an underworld mafia connection. Leading ladies are yet to be finalized and the regular shoot of this film will start in a couple of months.
Kamal was never away from Bollywood but this is his straight Hindi film after Hey Raam in the year 2000. The fan world is already excited about the kind of film Kamal is doing now. Besides this, Kamal has Thoongavanam & Papanaasam (Drishyam remake) lined up for release.
