Generally in the film industry, distributors and exhibitors gains profits by depending on the heroes image and stardom. Rajnikanth is one actor who changed the fate of many distributors and exhibitors with his super hit films.
But now time has changed and now distributors are giving ultimatum to superstar Rajnikanth. Coming to the news, the distributors of Lingaa movie suffered huge losses due to the film’s bad run at the box office and with the intervention of Tamil Nadigar Sangam president Sarath Kumar the distributors were promised a compensation of Rs 12.5 crores from Rajnikanth.
But the distributors started their protest again claiming that the amount they were assured is not yet cleared. Producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu who mediated at the settlement is now accused of cheating the distributors by not clearing the promised compensation amount.
Now they have arranged a press meet and cautioned to stage a protest at Rajini’s house if their compensation is not cleared in a week’s time. Rajnikanth is really facing a tough time post Lingaa release but meanwhile he is gearing up for the first schedule shoot of his upcoming film with Pa. Ranjith. We have to wait and see how this new episode will turn into!
