If you are a Nandamuri fan then you would be pulling up your socks for sure because Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna is all set to arrive with his new movie Lion this month. But even before the film has hit the screens, it has been struck by the comparison syndrome influencing the expectations.
Apparently, all are expecting Lion to be more powerful than Balayya’s past two releases Legend and Simha. But here is a slice of reality. Those two movies were helmed by Boyapati Srinu who is very experienced in dealing with hardcore masala potboilers and Lion is helmed by a debutante named Sathyadev.
Though this is something everyone knows, still the comparison syndrome is happening and some are strongly convinced ‘Lion’ will beat the other two films of Balayya in terms of records. So far, the songs and the promotional material has gone very strongly among the people so the release day will give the answer.
