Ideally no one is an exception and no one can be exempted from this - be it a film star/politician/any influential person. We have witnessed many such personalities serving jail terms for their deeds and now yet another Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is also at the verge of facing a ten year jail term in the 2002 hit and run case. The final verdict in the case that has been under hearing for the past 12yrs shall be delivered this May 6 and Salman will have to serve a 10yr jail term if declared guilty.
As we know Salman has been facing the charges of driving over sleeping homeless men, killing one of them and fleeing away from the spot in 2002. Salman who was allegedly drunk that night apparently lost control over the car he was driving and ran over the five men sleeping on a pavement in the upmarket suburb of Bandra West, Mumbai.
Recently, Salman’s driver name came into picture but the final verdict that shall be out tomorrow (May 6) will decide the fate of the 49yr old Superstar who has four projects (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg 3, Hero) lined up now. Well, wishes and prayers of his fans, friends and well-wishers are pouring down upon the actor and even actor Prakash Raj has prayed for Salman Khan in a tweet that read as follows –
“#salman khan.Since I have met that harmless child n loads of goodness in him ..Wish n pray world considers that n pays him back for that too”
Every prayer/wish has just one thing – ‘Salman Khan should come out clean’. Let’s hope and wish he doesn’t disappoint his fans!
