When you are a director from Tollywood and making your debut in Bollywood and your first film is gearing up for release in theaters, the night before is definitely a nightmare. This could well be the situation of the intellectual filmmaker Krish whose debut flick in Hindi Gabbar Is Back hit the screens.
But much to his relief and delight, reports are arriving that the film has seen a Tsunami in its openings. As per the trade analysts across different centers, the film has garnered a whopping 75% opening which is a very strong start. At the same time, Krish is getting good applause for his sense of narration and direction.
Though the film is made in an entirely commercial format, it has got a solid message that deals with the deep rooted corruption in our society which has struck a chord with the audience very nicely. So, the takeoff is excellent and if the collections remain steady like that till Monday then the film would easily make it to the success mark.
