When you are a big star as part of the entertainment industry, the first thing you should get used to is gossips and rumors that keep getting glued to you. So, you need to have the wisdom to ignore, condemn, clarify based on what is being said. Now, one gossip based on charity ended up as a joke.
This has happened in Bollywood. Apparently, a grapevine began to make rounds that the film Gabbar Is Back has pledged that they are going to contribute their first day collections to the Nepal Earthquake relief fund via the Prime Minister. Facebook also showed a morphed picture of hero Akshay Kumar along with Narendra Modi.
But before things could go out of control, Akshay himself cleared the air. He reportedly made it clear that no such announcement was made by him and he has no intentions to do that. He is obviously right because no big budget movie would donate their first day collections because these days the business of cinema happens in the first 2 to 3 days only. Those who heard the entire episode tagged it as a joke and had a hearty laugh.
