Movie Artists' Association (MAA) Elections has created a dramatic buzz and has been constantly on the news off late with too many twists and turns. With open word exchanges and challenges between two leading contestants Rajendra Prasad and Jayasudha, the film industry has been divided into two groups say one headed by former MAA Chairman Murali Mohan and the other headed by talented actor Rajendra Prasad. Finally,the D-Day of elections has arrived today and the voting process began in the midst of arguments and differences.
To make things even more heated up, the inside sources say there are huge bets being staked on the two probable candidates for the post of MAA Chairman. When the same was expressed to former MAA chairman Murali Mohan, he took it lightheartedly saying that it is a good thing to see MAA elections become as happening as a World Cup Final! However, it is interesting to see that the bets are more in favour of Jayasudha than Rajendra Prasad which would give a little idea about how the result is going to be.
Nevertheless, one has to wait for the actual result to be out to know who would be heading the prestigious Movie Artists' Association chamber this term!
