There was a time when you listened to film music and knew that it came either from maestro Ilaiyaraaja or K V Mahadevan or at the most M S Viswanathan. But today, the music director segment has become so congested that it is hard to identify and remember one music director for long.
However, some names tend to create that difference and one person who seems to be getting into that list is Uday Kumar Akkala. Apparently, the dynamic Devi Sri Prasad has mentioned about Uday in his twitter account as he has worked for the new movie S/o Sathyamurthy. Uday is the sound engineer for the project.
The industry is always focused on sound engineers because music directors come from sound engineering background. It is heard that Uday has got tremendous music knowledge and since he has worked with DSP it is working well. Already, many offers are coming to him so let us wish he makes use of this opportunity and creates a name for himself.
