You may find remake to be a very easy way to make films because all one has to do is lift and shift the script but it is not so. Enough modifications need to be made to suit the taste of the native audience and giving due respect to the hero’s image. As a director, you may do one or two remakes in your career.
But there is one filmmaker in Tollywood who is called the remake king because almost all his movies have been remakes. He is none other than Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao and he made his debut as a director in the year 1995 with the movie Shubamastu which is a remake of the Malayalam movie Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava.
After that, Bhimaneni has done many remakes and now it is heard that he is joining hands with a big producer’s son. We are talking about Bellamkonda Sreenivas, son of Bellamkonda Suresh. This time, Bhimaneni is remaking the 2012 released Tamil hit Sundarapandian. Here’s wishing both the best of success.
