Film industry works on the hardship of talented individuals, an ounce of luck and a pinch of Sentiment as well. This sentiment thing plays a crucial role in the film making process.
Some blindly follow these sentiments and we have some people who simply work on their instincts rather than this sentiment. On such sentiment around the remaking of old classics is in discussion now. Many fail in recreating the magic and that is why, they don’t take up such projects. We have enough results to prove this and K Balachander’s celluloid classic Maro Charitra is one such example.
It was remade or rather adapted few years back with young hero Varun Sandesh in the lead and the result is well-known. Now hero Nani and director Maruthi are doing a film and the movie has been titled 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' (with the famous song with the same name from Maro Charitra).
This is neither an adaptation nor a re-remake of Maro Charitra but the title itself reminds of the yesteryear classic. We hope at least Nani can over this sentiment and score success.
