Going into the details, Gemini bagged the satellite rights of Temper for around Rs 7.50 Cr. These rights are in fact sold much before the release of the film, but after its release it got huge positive talk and was unanimously declared a hit. Now the economic equations of the product changed drastically in the market. Had it been sold after the release, this film would have easily got around Rs 10 Cr, according to the market estimates.
Now you can see how the Television channel bagged a product for less than what it is in actual market. A saying is there relating to these kind of deals - 'A Foresight always pays you.'
