Nani has good market in both Telugu-Tamil and also his overseas market is strong in the current generation heroes. CineGalaxy, Inc. a well-known overseas distribution studio has taken the overseas distribution rights of Yevade Subramanyam and the film is scheduled to release worldwide in February, 2015. Yevade Subramanyam is about a titular character Subramanyam, a corporate man who sets out on a journey of self-discovery. Nag Ashwin is making his debut as director with this movie.
This film is produced by Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinema and much of the filming took place on MOUNT EVEREST at the Everest Base Camp, becoming the FIRST TELUGU FILM to be shot at this location. The film also features newcomer Malavika Nair, Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in supporting roles.
