Indeed, this has been an evergreen hit formula too. Okay, let us examine with examples – Pokiri, Vikramarkudu, Gabbar Singh and recently Power, Race Gurram (where Bunny turns a cop towards the end) etc. Well, there are enough reasons behind their success but the common point is that our hero is a bad cop messing up with the baddies for a good reason.
Now the Nandamuri family is also treading the same path. The Nandamuri brothers Kalyan Ram and NTR are currently playing the bad cops in their upcoming Pataas and Temper respectively. The only difference is that NTR is an angry young cop while Kalyan Ram has showcased the entertaining cop in him for the first time! While Pataas is promoted as a pakka commercial entertainer, Temper is touted to be the tale of an encounter specialist with Puri mark dialogues and entertainment.
