They say ‘All that begins well, ends well’. This in a way proves that we care for both - a good start and a good end as well.
Likewise, this year we had a lukewarm start in the form of a commercial hit (Yevadu) and a flop (1-Nenokkadine). However, fortunately we had a lukewarm ending in the form of Mukunda and Chinnadana Neekosam. Both the movies had huge expectations to meet and their performance has been relatively decent at the box-office in the first weekend.
According to latest trade reports, Mukunda is heading the race with above Rs 9 crores share (worldwide) and Chinnadana Neekosam is closely following with Rs 8.5 crores share (worldwide) by the first weekend.
These are indeed surprising numbers put up by debutante Varun Tej’s film going by the average talk. And Nithiin has in a way pulled it off quite well, given the divided talk. This swing is expected to continue until the much anticipated Gopala Gopala releases on Jan 9. Wish both the young heroes have a great week ahead!
