Are you thinking why we are giving a sigh of relief on the eve of superstar Rajnikanth’s birthday? Well, it is not like you don’t know the date (it is on December 12th just in case you don’t) but this year Rajini’s birthday is going to be special. The reason for that is the release of his much talked about movie Lingaa.
The reason behind giving that sigh of relief is all obstacles have been cleared for the film’s release. Incidentally, Lingaa landed in legal trouble when a noted director/producer put a case stating the story has been stolen from him by director K S Ravikumar. At one point, it looked like the film will get delayed.
But fortunately, the court in Chennai has struck off the petition and gave full approval for the release of the film as planned. This has spread a huge cheer among fans of Rajini and the makers as well. True to his image and stardom, Lingaa is releasing in more than 3000 theatres across the globe. Hail the Thalaiva!
