Reading the headline might make you wonder how come a category like vegetarian is coming in terms of moviemaking. This is strictly meant for food only. But there is a connection between the headline and a film. Well, this is the new project being produced by Krissh of ‘Gamyam’ fame.
This marks the debut of Radhakrishna as a director and the film happens to be a remake of the Tamil movie ‘Saivam’ starring Nasser. Coming to the point, the plot of film revolves entirely around the concept of vegetarianism. Nasser’s role is being reprised by Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad.
Films that revolve around food often evoke mixed reactions. For instance, the Hollywood movie ‘The Chef’ became a huge hit but the Telugu movie ‘Ulavacharu Biriyani’ sank without a trace. Well, it remains to be seen how this Pakka vegetarian movie is going to be digested by the audience. Sources say the makers are looking at ‘Daagudumoothala Dandakoru’ as the title.
