You know sometimes remakes are the best gateways to strike gold at the box-office! We have a successful story in the hand and all we need to do put in the right improvisation – if this is what you think, then our history of Telugu cinema will prove you wrong.
Remaking a film into Telugu is one of the toughest jobs in Tollywood and not many could always succeed in it. However, the Manchu family has hit the spot with a remake like Current Theega. Even Manchu Vishnu is now pinning his hopes upon Errabassu (yet another remake of Tamil film Manjapai).
Besides this, latest reports reveal that Manchu Vishnu is likely to feature in the remake of Akshay Kumar’s 2013 heist thriller Special Chabbis. Renowned Tamil producer Thyagarajan has apparently acquired the remake rights of the film and Vishnu is eagerly looking forward to take up the project. He is also remaking Tamil action thriller Arima Nambi which shall be reportedly directed by Deva Katta!
Anyhow, the remake trend is running now in Tollywood. Hope it works for Vishnu who is doing versatile films besides production and distribution. Good luck Vishnu!
