Right now, one news from Kodambakkam is catching the attention of all. It is the first day collection report of the latest release Kaththi. A mania has spread across the market because the film has touched a whopping Rs 12.5 crores net in the first day. It released in nearly 455 theatres across Tamil Nadu.
The trade gurus reveal if the collections from Kerala and Karnataka are clubbed then it is touching nearly Rs 15.7 crores net. The dubbed version of this movie is coming in Telugu on October 31st so it has to be seen whether the same impact will be felt here or not. On the plus side, it has Samantha as the heroine and Murugadoss as the director. This should work as a crowd pulling factor so let’s see what happens.
