Amidst the flood of film festivals that take place in India, the first and most prestigious event is the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which takes place at Goa. In that, the Indian panorama section is a very honorable place and many filmmakers in India vie to see their films being screened in that section.
This year, the IFFI will take place between November 20th to 30th and the hustle bustle has begun in Tollywood already. Apparently, the delegate passes need to be taken at film chamber and those who apply for it need to be from industry and registered members of Tollywood.
So, the process of pass collection has started and for some reason many are showing interest to go there. It is not sure how many Telugu movies are there in Indian Panorama but the interest element is very high among the filmnagar folks. This is a positive sign because it would open up their mind to different concepts of cinema which can be used to break the monotony in Tollywood filmmaking formula.
