Where there is the law of nature there are those who challenge it and where there is a system, there are those who prefer to oppose it. Such radical individuals are rare but among them are those who come up with path-breaking visions. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma can be put into that bracket.
From the start, RGV has come up with films that broke the conventional thoughts of society. Now, he is coming up with something that might be a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru albeit on a wrong side. Well, he is preparing to start his new film Savitri. Sources say, the story is about chemistry between a 12 year old boy and a woman.
In the past, films like Cheeni Kum and Nishabd have come which revolved around such subjects. In Hindi, it will be seen as a bold and classic movie but in Telugu, it is going to be different and offensive. Whatever it may be, RGV is going to come up with aggressive marketing and he is planning to release the film on November 14th. Children are seen as representatives of god and if this film releases on the Children’s Day, the negative publicity among media will be huge and maybe this is what RGV also wants. Let us see where this leads to.
