Nitya Menon has won many young hearts with her bubbly and lively performance in Nani starrer Alaa Modalaindhi directed by Nandini Reddy. Right from then, Nitya never looked back and became a first choice for feel good romantic films. Her pairing with Nithiin became commercially successful with Ishq and Gundejaari Gallanthayindhe becoming good hits. This multi talented actress has been balancing Tollywood, Mollywood and Kollywood as well by choosing interesting roles throughout. Unlike many other young actresses in Tollywood, this actress dubs her own voice and even sang few songs for her films!
Now, the actress has done something which was never done by any actress in her generation. For her upcoming film she is doing a character of two different timelines and would be seen as a young and an older woman respectively. Nitya is paired opposite another talented star Sharwanand and the story deals about two lovers who get separated in younger days and meet after 25 years. In fact, the main storyline deals with the bonding between these two main characters in the older age. Nitya has changed her bubbly appearance to a matured middle aged married woman who has a child as well. This interesting film is directed by Onamalu fame Kranthi Madhav and produced by K.S. Rama Rao.
It is indeed a challenging task to keep the young image aside and accept such challenging roles- that too for a female lead in Tollywood. Way to go Nitya!
