Apart from ‘Jabardast’, ‘Soundarya Lahari’ is another show on ETV that has grabbed the viewers’ attention. Famous director K Raghavendra Rao who is often called as ‘Mouna Muni’ (for being tight-lipped all the time) hosting the show has brought special attraction to it. All the episodes are entertaining and the recent one was even more entertaining. This was about the Nagarjuna starrer film Gharana Bullodu and the celebrity guests were Nagarjuna, Gunnam Gangaraju, Suhasini Maniratnam.
In this episode, the veteran director revealed an interesting news that he came across the line ‘Jacket Lo Jabilli’ in a magazine somewhere. He liked it a lot and made it as a line for a song. But the word got censored and it was changed from ‘Jacket Lo Jabilli’ to ‘Mabbullo Jabilli’.
When the whole story was being revealed, Nag was laughing his heart out like a teenage kid and he was blushing pink with shyness. However, despite so much happening Raghavendra Rao went about with his explanation in a very matter of fact way. All in all, it was a treat for the viewers.
