Item songs have been part and parcel of Cinema since many decades and there used to be item girls for such songs. But of late, Heroines have turned item girls and getting whopping amounts. The latest tradition of Tollywood demands that no film is complete without an item song and even a big star flick is no exception to it. Director Srinu Vaitla who has roped in Parvathi Melton for an item song in Dookudu has now roped in another seductive beauty Shruti Hasan for Aaagadu.
The music is composed by by S S Thaman and it is heard that even Director Sreenu Vaitla is taking special care and attention. Apparently, Vaitla has sat with Thaman on this track and reportedly gave few valuable inputs to make the song better and more striking.
Some are also hoping that Mahesh lends his voice for the track but Vaitla has never done that with his stars. The shooting is in the final stages of completion and it is scheduled for release on September 17. Thaman’s latest album Race Gurram is a huge success. Let’s hope this success repeats for him and Aagadu team.
