Preserving and saving the ancient culture has to be one of the main items on any country’s agenda for development. The way we ignore the old temples and heritage sites has been one of the main concerns from a long time and the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has come forward to take an initiative to save the temples of ancient India. The organizers are starting a short film contest with the same theme now.
Renowned singer Ghazal Srinivas is acting as the brand ambassador for this new movement and the organization has released a brochure of the contest. Senior journalist Pasupuleti Ramarao has done the honours!
Ghazal Srinivas has said that his association with Velaganudi Prakasarao has made him realize the importance of saving the heritage and fight for this cause. The contest has called all the film makers to submit a 10 to 12 minute short film with “Saving Temples and Heritage” concept by July 24th. The short film has to be in HD format and can be of any language with English subtitles. The heritage short film festival will be happening at Prasad Labs on August 22nd, 23rd and 24th and the winners will be declared at the same fest!
The 1st prize winner will be getting prize money of 1 lakh rupees and the runners up will be given an award of 75,000 and 50,000 rupees respectively. Celebrities like Sira Sri, Suresh Kondeti and Mahesh Kaththi have participated in the event!
