Two or three heroines are a mandate for big heroes but fledgling heroes rarely get such opportunity to romance three heroines in a film. When Prema Ishq Kadhal fame Harshavardhan Rane got that chance in Neelakanta’s Maaya, he found it to be challenging more than a pleasure.
"I have only romanced one heroine in all my films so far. It was challenging to romance three heroines in 'Maaya' because I had to justify my scenes with all three of them, be equally romantic and most importantly express different emotions to them," Harshavardhan said in an interview.
"You can have similar feelings for three women but they can't be the same. I created three different emotional graphs for three of them. This was something very new to me because I haven't done it before," he added.
Rane is paired with newcomers Avantika, Sushma and Nandini Rai in "Maaya", which is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Neelakanta and produced by eminent producer and filmmaker Madhura Sreedhar.
Harsha feels lucky to have worked with passionate makers like Neelakanta and Madhura Sreedhar and is excited about his upcoming release Maaya which is slated for a July 4th release.
