The iconic filmmaker Jandhyala can be called as the Godfather of comedy for Tollywood industry and he is also responsible for introducing a wave of star comedians to the entertainment circuit. Now, the time has come for a heroine from his era to grab the headlines.
She is none other than Poornima and during her peak days of career, she has acted in films like ‘Nalugu Sthambala Aata’ and ‘Srivariki Premalekha’. Though she has done few films as a leading lady and more films as hero’s sister, she is more identified as Jandhyala’s heroine.
Now, Poornima is making her comeback in a full length role. This is through the film ’33 Prema Kathalu’ starring a set of debutantes. It is heard that she would be donning the role of hero’s mother and would be pairing up with another senior actor Murali Mohan. Here’s wishing Poornima the best of success for her second innings.
