The culture of freemakes and remakes is quite common in the Indian cinema and usually there is a lot of lift and shift that happens from Hollywood or Korean movies. Now, it looks like a group from Tollywood has shifted its attention to Japan and is coming up with a new project.

This film will have its music by Chakri while noted politician Hariramajogayya turns producer. Raja Vannem Reddy is the director and the story revolves around a dog which waits for its owner at a railway station for nine years. The film is titled as Hanee and it has none other than Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad.

From the looks of it, the story seems to be a proper lift from the Japanese dog Hachiko which created a sensation during 1925 to 1937. Later on, the film was made in English and it had the famous Richard Gere in the lead. Now, it looks like the Telugu version is going to come up.
