Creative director Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Anaamika with Nayantara is getting ready for a grand release on May 1st. Renowned for making feel-good movies, Sekhar has taken a different path this time by opting for a remake [of Bollywood’s Kahaani] instead of going with a direct subject. The pre-release buzz for the film is moderately positive and the expectations are fairly high.
On the other hand, Sekhar is in the process of freezing his next commitment. As per the sources, his next film will be in Hindi and it will be a remake of his own Telugu classic Happy Days. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is said to have got super impressed with Happy Days and has come forward to produce the film too. Upon few more discussions, an official announcement will be made about the next project of Sekhar Kammula.
And, it’s also being said that a huge talent hunt program will be rolled out in the search of lead artists for this Happy Days remake. Rest of the cast/crew is yet to be finalized.
