The most awaited film of the Superstar Rajnikanth, Kochadaiiyaan is all set for a grand release worldwide on 9th May in about 4000 screens acrss the globe.
While Vikrama Simha, the Telugu version of this magnum opus might release on the same day! It is being rumored that Manchu Lakshmi has bought the Telugu rights of Kochadaiiyaan but there has been no official announcement about the film’s release here in A.P.
Vikrama Simha is a 3D Animated Motion Capture film directed by Rajini’s daughter Soundarya, under the directorial supervision of K.S. Ravikumar featuring Deepika Padukone opposite the Superstar. The post production of the film has been reportedly done in the UK, the US, Hong Kong and China as well. Alongside Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, the film is being planned to be dubbed into in Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, English and Japanese as well.
This much anticipated animated period film has stalwarts like Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadhi, Jackie Shroff et al, Music by Oscar winner AR Rahman and Sound design by Oscar awardee Rasool Pookutty.
