Sarkar was one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful movie of maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s Bollywood career. The way the character of Amitabh Bacchan was designed is still fresh in every film lover’s memory. The lighting techniques used, the mood-elevating background score, subtle yet impeccable performances – you name it and the film has it. The sequel Sarkar Raj was also a moderate success at the box-office though it was turned down by the critics.
This deadly combo of Big B and RGV is getting ready for their next outing very soon. As per the inside sources, Amitabh is hell bent on making the 3rd part to his favourite film Sarkar and is in continuous discussions with Ramu regarding the subject. It is also said that this 3rd instalment would be concentrating on the life of Chiku, the grandson of Sarkar. So, the confusion boils down to the actor donning the “chiku” role. Though the speculations are rife that Ranbir Kapoor or Hrithik Roshan might get the chance to play the character of grandson to legendary Sarkar, it’s also being said that the character might again fall into the hands of Abhishek.
Casting part apart, Sarkar.3 will be going for a regular shoot from the first week of Jul 2014. Let’s see whether Ramu can pull it off for the 3rd time or not...!
