Daggubati Rana is currently featured in two of the most awaited films of this decade: Rudhrama Devi [by Gunasekhar] and Baahubali [by SS Rajamouli]. He seems to have tied up with these two projects from an year or so. Though we had the opportunity to see him in guest roles [Tamil film Arrambham and Bollywood film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani], it’s been a long time since we’d seen Rana in full-length role!
Going by the sources, Rana will be working with young director Parasuram for his dad Daggubati Suresh Babu’s next production. Chuttalabbayi is the title under consideration for this family drama and the final draft is under preparation now. Parasuram got into the limelite with his debut film Yuvatha, and went on to make Anjaneyulu, Solo and Saarocharu later.
With such a great offer in his hand, Parasuram is working hard to make this film a memorable one for him and the team too!
