Clap in..Take One.. Action!
This is a syntax any come buff would know. And this a fundamental LKG format any director would grow up with right from his/her training. But there is an excetion to everything on this planet guys...
And a previliged exception to this fundamental syntax is our "Chrishtopher Nolan of Tollywood", ace director Sukumar. Can you belive this creative cap hasn't clapped for a film till now - not even as an assistant director!
He started off as a script associate, then as an associate director and later turned a director with Arya (2004). Manasichchi Chudu (1999), Kshemanga Velli Labhamga Randi (2000), Hanuman Junction (2001) , Dil (2003) were few films which he worked before his debut as a director. Of course, it is a pleasent surprise that a big director like Sukumar hasn't got a chance to clap for any of his films.
However, this has been fulfilled with fledgling hero Naveen Chandra. Sukumar has been one of the special invitees for the movie's opening and he gave the clap for the film - supposingly his first official clap for a film!
